As an Account / Technical Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for growing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and providing technical support across the Personal Care, Home Care and Industrial & Institutional markets.   • Familiarity with a range of valves - particularly ball valves.

  • Willingness to undertake basic site maintenance tasks (non-mechanical).

  • Previous experience of the chemical industry and a workplace dealing with the handling of highly flammable products, particularly in relation to solvents and hazardous ATEX zones.

  • Knowledge of Pneumatic Systems.

2M Equest are seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Supervisor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to develop their career within a supportive and forward thinking manufacturing environment. This position is designed with long-term progression in mind. The successful candidate will play a key part in day-to-day production activities while also undertaking structured training to prepare for advancement into a more senior role.

What you’ll be doing…

Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you will be supervising day-to-day production activities, ensuring safe and efficient operation of the site and delivery of production plans in our small manufacturing facility.

  • Supervise, motivate, and lead a team of approximately 20 staff. Provide coaching, training and performance feedback while fostering a collaborative working environment

  • Plan, organise and manage daily production activities to meet quality and delivery targets. Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve productivity.

  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation, conduct audits and risk assessments, and promote a strong safety culture.

  • Maintain high product quality standards and support ISO 9001:2015 compliance.

  • Minimum 3-5 years in a manufacturing production role with strong leadership and problem solving skills

  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and best practises

Sewing Machinist / Shop Floor Operator

We are currently seeking a Sewing Machinist / Shop Floor Operator to join our production team. This hands on role is key to supporting the manufacture of test fabrics and ensuring customer orders are completed accurately, efficiently and to the highest standards.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Operate flat sewing machines and overlockers to sew fabric strips

  • Follow customer test sheets and work instructions accurately and consistently

  • Record relevant production information on check sheets

  • Report any nonconformances or quality issues

  • Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues

  • Maintain a clean organised and safe work area

  • Meet daily production targets while ensuring accuracy and quality

  • Work collaboratively with production team to solve sewing related issues

  • Adhere to all Health & Safety standards and company procedures

  • Work in production area when not sewing, doing various tasks which could include applying products to fabrics by hand and labelling fabric swatches

What you’ll be doing…

  • Create, maintain and expedite purchase orders using D365.

  • Liaise with suppliers, transport providers and internal teams to ensure materials are received on time.

  • Coordinate Goods In bookings and process warehouse documentation, including Certificates of Analysis.

  • Process stock receipts, transfers, production transactions, repacks and authorised stock adjustments.

  • Support production administration by ensuring manufacturing documentation and transactions are completed accurately.

  • Carry out routine stock reconciliations, investigate inventory variances and assist with cycle counts and annual stocktakes.

  • Maintain accurate master data and stock records to ensure system integrity.

  • Produce operational reports, inventory information and KPI data to support business decisions.

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support across the Purchasing, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams, including cover during periods of absence.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.

What you’ll be doing…

You will work within a small team repacking/decanting chemical sample at our Elland warehouse, processing requests on our current IT System, reviewing COSHH and H&S guidelines and dealing with each client’s individual sampling requirements. Day to day your role will require:

  • Locating products in the warehouse using customer orders, ensuring correct product is selected for order

  • Generating delivery paperwork via the current IT System

  • Creating/generating/amending product labels via the labelling system

  • Ensuring all client instructions are followed

  • Liaising with the Client Administrators & Stock Controller

  • Returning unused samples/stock to their warehouse locations

  • Liaising with Couriers/Hauliers in the absence of Goods In

  • Dealing with both client and internal enquiries/queries
