Applying for Goods-In Operative

6-Month Fixed-Term – Full-Time

Working as an integral part of our Operations Team at our Elland site, you will ensure that all goods received into the business are managed efficiently and in line with Client’s requirements and Industry Standards.

What you’ll be doing…

• Receiving and inspection of all goods received to ensure accuracy against purchase orders and client specifications.

• Verify that all materials are appropriately labelled and meet quality standards, reporting any discrepancies or damages.

• Ensure hazardous materials are handled and stored in compliance with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH), and other relevant regulations.

• Record all goods received in an accurate and timely manner.

• Communicate with suppliers or clients to resolve issues related to damaged or missing items.

• Provide support with preparing materials for shipment.

• Strong organisation and planning skills

• Computer literacy

• Experience of working in a pressurised environment

• Manual handling experience

• Knowledge of chemical industry

• Experience in a similar role
