We are looking for an effective, motivated IT Security Systems Administrator to manage, develop and maintain all aspects of their current security systems and policies.

The successful candidate will be looking to take the next steps in their career, in a role where they will have the opportunity to assist in the shaping and implementation of cyber security governance, policies, and strategy.

What you’ll be doing…

Reporting to the Head of IT, the IT Security Systems Administrator will be managing, developing and maintaining all aspects of the current security systems and policies.

• Monitoring and optimizing security events

• Anti-virus, web, and e-mail security administration

• Mobile Security Management (administering remote assets)

• Monitoring and managing malware prevention systems

• Microsoft 365, SharePoint configuration and security

• Analyse and report on email and or web security

• Participate in vulnerability management and associated tools.

• Interact with project teams to understand the security requirements and implement solutions.

• Analyse and respond to Security Incidents.

• Provide professional user support.

• Take part in technical discussions and crisis call experience.

• Work with IT team to update and produce cyber security policies.

Your background…

Must have…

• A good Computer Science IT software Engineering or technically related degree.

• Experience of security information and event management (SIEM)

Nice to have…

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Experience of implementing and working with security systems such as Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR)

• Experience of working within an organisation with a strong mature cyber security governance, policies, and strategy.
